Who is Matt Greco and Tamara Hastie?

MATT GRECO

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, I discovered rock climbing early on at the age of 15.

Deep water soloing in Lake Travis started my itch to pursue climbing full time.

First Ascents in Europe, Mexico and all over the US.

Guiding and facilitating  rock climbing for over 10 years throughout the south and southwest.

AMGA SPI course taken in Joshua Tree, CA in 2008 and hold a current WFR certification.

Currently working for the Dunn School in Santa Barbara, CA and Elevation in Lone Pine, CA.

TAMARA HASTIE

Growing up in Ojai, CA influenced me to get outside and discover.

Avid in whitewater canoeing since the age of 14 eventually brought me to Flagstaff, AZ at the age of 17.

Going to school at Northern Arizona University with a focus in Fine Art and biology- it’s there

that I met friends that introduced me to rock climbing – thank you Tony!

10 years later I am devoted to climbing full-time with numerous first ascents with the discovery

and development of many new climbing areas all over the southwest.

Currently self-employed and living life,

Base Camp to Home Base Photography is an outlet for me to document the incredible volunteers

and staff of numerous non-profits and their critical time education and creating local watershed awareness.
